As the year draws to an end,
let me thank you, dear friend

it was indeed a memorable 2012
worthy enough for me to delve

many happy moments, u did bring
many a reason to dance and sing

few tough times, i did face
but, u always saved my grace

friends- they are many to count

but u are the best, no doubt

few did come and go

u stuck with me, though

our bond grows stronger by the day

though, a perfect union is still far away

my thoughts, u always read
what more does a friend need

all my questions, u resolve

my worries- in air they dissolve

i barely ask, but u always give

sufficient, to live and let live

blessed me with good health

with no dearth of wealth

love one and all, u did teach

right and wrong, u never preach

i am a slow student, i know

but u'll be proud, soon i'll show

jesus, krishna or ram
who cares for ur naam

i love u and u love me

what else, there needs to be

u r present in one and all

i see u in my every pal

let me thank you friend for everything

more happiness in this world, may u and i bring
